Privacy
What this site collects, and what it does not.
Written against the code rather than from a template: every statement below describes something this site actually does. Where a detail is not settled yet, it says so instead of filling the gap with boilerplate.
In short
The whole thing in six lines.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
- There is no form on this site, and it collects nothing from you. You reach us only the way you choose: email or a Google Calendar booking.
- No analytics runs until you accept it, and declining is stored and respected.
- Your email reaches an inbox. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared for anyone else's purposes.
- This site sets exactly one cookie of its own: your answer to the analytics question.
- There is no server: the site is a set of ready-made files. Technical logs of your visit are kept only by the hosting provider.
- No advertising pixels, no chat widget, no social embeds, no third-party fonts.
- For a Google visibility report you can also write to us on WhatsApp; you always send the first message.
Data controller
Who is responsible for this
Under KVKK the data controller (veri sorumlusu) is whoever decides why and how personal data is processed. For this website, that is us.
- Legal name
- Lokum Tech LLC
- Registered address
- 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States
- KVKK contact
- support@lokumtech.com
Write to this address with any request under KVKK; there is no form or ticket system in between, and a person reads it.
When you email us
What reaches us by email
There is no contact form on this site. When you email us, what arrives is what you send from your own mail program; the site collects, adds and stores nothing in between.
- Your email address
- How we get back to you. We reply to this address.
- Your name and signature
- Whatever your mail program sends: your display name, and any company and title in your signature.
- Your message and attachments
- Whatever you write. Please do not send live data, passwords or access keys; none of them are needed for a first conversation.
How long it is kept
For as long as the correspondence is useful: an enquiry that turns into a project stays with that project's records, one that goes nowhere is deleted when the mailbox is cleared. There is no automatic deletion schedule on the inbox today. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and we will confirm that we have.
Google visibility reports
When we prepare a report about a business
Our Google visibility service (offered in Türkiye) prepares reports from a business's publicly available information. Some of it, such as the name and phone number of a practitioner working alone, can count as personal data, so we describe what we do separately.
- What information
- Business name, address or service area, phone, website, Instagram username and whatever else those sources show publicly. We do not sign in to any account or look at anything that is not public.
- From where
- Google Search and Maps, the business's own website and its public Instagram profile.
- What for
- Only to prepare a report for that business and send it to them. We do not sell lists, share them with anyone, or send bulk or automated messages.
- Legal basis
- For public business information, KVKK art. 5/2-(d): data made public by the data subject. When you request the report or buy a service, art. 5/2-(c): entering into and performing a contract.
- How long it is kept
- A report that does not lead to any work, and its notes, are deleted after six months at the latest. If you tell us you are not interested, we delete it right away and do not contact you again.
- Report links
- Reports sit at an unguessable link that search engines are told not to index, and are sent only to the business. The sample report published on this site is about a fictional business.
If you do not want a report prepared about you, or want an existing one deleted, write to the address below. We do not ask why. support@lokumtech.com
Cookies and analytics
Nothing measures you until you say yes
Google Analytics is configured in manual mode. The script is not loaded and no analytics cookie exists until you press Accept on the notice. Declining stores the refusal and loads nothing at all.
- lt_analytics_consent
- Your answer to the analytics question, stored as "granted" or "denied". Set by this site, kept for 180 days, SameSite=Lax. It carries no identifier and says nothing about who you are.
- Google Analytics cookies
- Written by Google, and only after you accept, under Google's own terms. If you decline they are never written, because the script never loads.
- Nothing else
- No advertising or remarketing cookies, no A/B testing, no session recording, and no cookie remembering your language — browser language detection is switched off, so your choice lives in the URL instead.
Changing your mind
Deleting the lt_analytics_consent cookie in your browser resets the question, and the notice appears again on your next visit. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply there is a preferences panel that does not exist — if a one-click withdrawal button matters to you, say so and it goes to the top of the list.
Analytics is only enabled in the production build. Local development and preview builds load no analytics at all, whatever you press.
Third parties
Everyone else involved, and exactly when
Google, Cloudflare and WhatsApp are involved; each can see something only in one specific situation.
- Google Analytics
- Page-level statistics. Loads after you accept the notice, and never before it.
- Google Calendar
- Call bookings. The "book a call" buttons across the site and the booking card on the contact page open Google's booking page in a new tab. If you never click, nothing is requested from Google Calendar at all. What you type into the booking form goes to Google under their own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare
- Hosting. The site is served over Cloudflare's global network, from the data centre nearest to you. Cloudflare's request logs contain the usual technical data — IP address, browser details, the page requested.
- The "request a report on WhatsApp" button on the Google visibility pages opens WhatsApp; you send the first message. The conversation runs under Meta's (WhatsApp's) own terms, and your phone number reaches us.
Deliberately not here
- No web fonts fetched from Google or anyone else — the font files are served from this domain.
- No chat widget, no lead-scoring tracker, no advertising or remarketing pixel.
- No embedded social timelines, maps or video players.
- No account, no login and no form. There is nothing on this site to sign up for or fill in.
Your rights
What you can ask for (KVKK Article 11)
If you are in Turkey, KVKK Article 11 gives you the rights below. We would honour a request from anyone who asks, wherever they are.
- To learn whether we hold personal data about you
- To ask what we hold and what we have done with it
- To have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
- To have it deleted, or to ask us to stop using it
- To learn whether it was passed on to anyone, in Turkey or abroad
- To object to a decision made about you purely by automated means — we make none
- To claim compensation if unlawful processing caused you damage
How to ask
Email the address above and say what you want. KVKK Article 13 allows a controller 30 days at the outside. A request about an email you sent us usually gets answered the same week, because answering it means searching one mailbox.
Transfers abroad
Where the data physically goes
Lokum Tech LLC is a US-registered entity, and the providers above, Google, Cloudflare and WhatsApp's owner Meta, are headquartered abroad. So a booking, a message you send us on WhatsApp, analytics data if you have accepted it, and the technical logs of your requests to the site may be processed outside Turkey.
Changes
When this text changes
This notice follows the site, not the other way round: if we add a tool that can see your data, this page changes in the same release. The date at the top is the only version marker — there is no archive of earlier versions, so if a specific wording matters to you, keep a copy.
Questions about any of this
